What is Counselling?
Sometimes life can feel very difficult and it can be hard to feel happy. Life can be overwhelming with things like relationship problems, loneliness, bereavement, and redundancy, loss of direction or purpose and low self worth.
These factors can lead to feelings of sadness, depression, anxiety and hopelessness.
These can be times in our lives when we experience difficulties that we can't sort out on our own and this is when counselling may help.
Counselling offers a special kind of relationship between you and your therapist who will listen to you with compassion and without judgement and will support and sometimes challenge you with respect and understanding.
Counselling can put you in touch with inner resources you didn't know you had to develop an awareness to help you make sense of what is happening in you life and the confidence to make changes.
